John Forbes, Partner
John Forbes focuses on business law, property tax appeals, and estate planning. Licensed to practice in both Texas and Oklahoma, he began his legal career with a foundation in litigation and eventually moved in house to serve as general counsel to a multi-industry family office. John earned his Bachelor of Science in Business from Oklahoma State University and his Juris Doctor from the Oklahoma City University School of Law, and he applies strategic legal thinking to every client matter. His background uniquely blends transactional experience with practical business insight, allowing him to deliver thoughtful, results-driven solutions across diverse legal needs.
Jason Barrentine, Partner
Jason Barrentine brings more than a decade of experience in the Texas real estate market as an attorney, investor, and licensed real estate professional. He has deep expertise in property tax protest strategy, real estate transactions, and business law, blending legal insight with practical market experience to achieve results for clients. Jason holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Oklahoma State University, a Juris Doctor from SMU Dedman School of Law, and an MBA from the SMU Cox School of Business.
